Privacy Policy

This website (guocianyu.com) is operated by Guo Cian-Yu ("I", "me"), an independent product designer based in Taiwan. This policy explains what information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and how it is handled.

What I collect

• Contact form. When you submit the contact form, I collect your name, email address, company name (if provided), and the details you share about your project. I use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential collaboration.

• Meeting bookings. If you schedule a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email address, and time zone in order to set up the meeting. Calendly's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

• Analytics. This website uses Framer's built-in analytics to understand overall traffic patterns, such as page views, top pages, and traffic sources. Framer Analytics is cookie-free and does not collect or store any data that identifies you personally — visitor counts are calculated using a hashed, daily-rotating method that cannot be traced back to individuals. This is why you won't see a cookie consent banner on this site: there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

What I don't do

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. I do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly asked to hear from me.

Third-party services

This website is built and hosted on Framer. Scheduling is handled by Calendly. These services may process data (such as IP addresses) as part of their normal operation, under their own privacy policies:

Data retention

Inquiry emails and form submissions are kept for up to 2 years so I can refer back to past conversations, after which they are deleted unless we are in an active working relationship.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing guocianyu@gmail.com. I will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Governing law

This website is operated from Taiwan and this policy is governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), including the Personal Data Protection Act. If you are located in another jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under your local law, and I will make reasonable efforts to honor them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
