I’ve always been interested in what makes people stay, engage, or buy. That curiosity led me to product design, where I combine design with business thinking.

/ Where this came from
I got into design because I wanted to know why people buy.
Studying visual communication, I was never satisfied with "make it look good." I read business magazines more than design blogs. One article broke down why Starbucks took off in Taiwan while ordinary chains didn't — and the answer wasn't the coffee. It was the experience economy: people pay for how something makes them feel.
I went looking for the discipline that designs experiences, found UX, and took the obvious path. Ten years later, I'm still asking the same question.

Everywhere I go I study the same thing: why do people love this product, this brand, this place? The wider my view of how people live and choose, the better I design for them.
